In a feed mill, a qualified liquid lignosulfonate grade may be evaluated primarily as a pellet or kibble binder and processing aid. Claims that require separate evidence
The ingredient name alone does not support claims about palatability, digestion, gut health, growth rate, milk or egg production, antioxidant action, disease control or animal safety. Any such statement requires evidence for the exact additive identity, commercial grade, animal species and category, inclusion basis, complete diet, study design and applicable jurisdiction.
Likewise, a regulatory maximum or result reported for one substance, species or use condition must not be converted into a universal recommended dosage.
