Magnesium Lignosulfonate for Soil Conditioning

Manganese Lignosulfonate (Mn LS)

Product Description

Manganese Lignosulfonate (Mn LS) is a water-soluble anionic polyelectrolyte polymer from sulfite pulping, complexed with manganese (Mn). It is used as a biodegradable fertilizer to supply manganese to crops and as a versatile additive in industrial applications.

Physical and Chemical Properties

  • Appearance: Dark brown powder
  • Manganese Content: 2–5% (w/w)
  • Lignosulfonate Content: 50–60% (w/w)
  • pH (10% solution): 4.0–6.0
  • Water Solubility: Completely soluble
  • Moisture Content: ≤ 7%
  • Ash Content: ≤ 12%
  • Molecular Weight: 1,000–50,000 Da

Applications

  • Agriculture: Supplies manganese to correct deficiencies, enhancing photosynthesis and crop health; improves soil structure and nutrient availability.
  • Industrial: Used as a dispersant in concrete and ceramics, reducing water content and improving flow; acts as a binder for mineral powders and feed pellets.
  • Environmental: Applied as a dust suppressant and soil stabilizer for sustainable land management.

Packaging

  • Packaged in 25 kg woven bags with inner plastic lining for moisture protection.
  • Bulk packaging (500 kg or 1000 kg) available for industrial use.
  • Containers are sealed to maintain product quality.

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from heat and moisture.
  • Keep containers tightly closed to prevent contamination.
  • Shelf life: 24 months under recommended conditions.
